Isn't in Intersting

How God brings people into our life, just when we need them? A lot of the time we don't' even realize the hand he has in the friendships we make, and relationships we build. Till down the road we look back and ask ourselves how that happened, and we realize we couldn't' have made it through without that person. It's so interesting to look at how I met people, and how some of the most meaningful friendships I have come to pass. I know that God had in hand in them.

However, its also interesting how sometimes things change. Everyone we have ever known has changed our lives, sometimes in ways we don't' even know. But sometimes, people change, or move on. And when the reason you were brought into each other's lives is accomplished, things end. And you have to let go.

I've always been horrible at that. At facing change, at letting go, at saying goodbye. But, God knows what he is doing, and sometimes it has to happen. I always wonder if the pain I struggle through with goodbyes is worth it, or if it would be easier to have never met the person I have to leave behind. There are so many sayings and songs though, that express the sentiment, that the times spent in joy and the memories made are worth the pain or letting go.

I guess I know that's true. I trust in my God that he knows what I need, and who I need in my life. So I guess I should also trust him when he thinks its time for me to say goodbye. I'm grateful for the many people he has brought into my life, even the ones that are no longer in it. As for those of you who play an important role in my life right now, I thank God for you, I thank you for all you do, and I pray that the day will never come when I'll have to say goodbye.
