Today, I had to spiritual experiences that I wanted to express my feelings about. I went to Mikey's farewell today. The Sacrament Meeting was amazing. The family that spoke with him did a great job and I really liked their talk. Mikey's testimony was especially powerful and really touched me, I could really feel the spirit. And then besides that, they had 5 boys from the Senior primary(ages 8-11) sing the song, "We'll Bring the World His Truth". The way they sang it with such joy and enthusiasm really touched my heart. This morning, I really felt the Spirit there with me, and I know the gospel is true.
I do have a testimony, but sometimes, when things get hard, I forget.
Tonight, for multiple reasons, I felt extremely sad and lonely. As I was writing in my journal about my week, and how I was feeling tonight, I reminded myself that I just have to let myself have faith that I am not alone. That when I feel more lonely than I know how to bare, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ will always be there for me. I know what I need to do, but for some reason it's hard for me. Then, something happened. I was listening to my Sunday playlist on shuffle, and the song "Close Enough" from my Women At The Well CD came on. It's about the women who touched Jesus' robe and was healed. But I love it because it talks about remembering that Jesus is always there, always close enough to touch. As if that wasn't enough to help me feel better, and prove to me that God is here for me, I started looking around my room at the pictures of Christ I have. I was thinking to myself that I just need to let myself have the faith in them, to know they are there when I changed where I was looking. And sitting on my dresser was a Mormonad that I had put in a frame I'd painted at a YW activity. It's the one with a picture of Christ that says, "You are Never Alone." I started to cry again at this sign that God does love me, he knows what I need right now, and he is there for me.
Sometimes I find it harder to believe than others. But I do know that God is real. I know He loves me. I know He is aware of me, and he wants to be there for me. I know that Christ suffered for MY sins, and died for ME because he loves me. I know that the gospel is true, and that Joseph Smith restored it to the Earth with God's help. I know that if I am righteous that one day I can live with Heavenly Father forever, and with all my loved ones. I am grateful for days like to day, with experiences that strengthen my testimony, especially when I'm struggling, but even when I'm not.

I have to admit that I'm not overly excited about working as a cashier for
I am grateful for little things that help me remember the beauty of Earth, and the love of God for his children, and that includes me.

Other interesting things that happened;
Vanessa also accidentally ate the second Fancy Cake in Rachel's pack, and had to give her her other, but it was partially smashed.
